GUITAR SET UPS
ELECTRIC / ACOUSTIC AND BASS GUITARS
Struggling with high action or incorrect intonation on your instrument? A proper setup can make all the difference.
BASIC SETUPS
Includes truss rod adjustment, fretboard cleaning and oiling, nut and action height adjustment, intonation, pickup height adjustment, and cleaning of volume and tone pots.
From £45.00 plus parts (if needed)
ADVANCED SETUPS
Includes all basic setup services plus fret levelling and dressing.
From £80.00 plus parts (if needed)
RE-FRETS
A re-fret is necessary when the frets have been worn down too much or lack enough material for proper levelling. It’s also required when the neck and fretboard are warped to the point that fret levelling can no longer fix the issue. This ensures optimal playability and comfort.

TREMOLO ISSUES
Floyd Rose tremolos can be tricky to set up, requiring extra attention to detail to get them right. If your tremolo won’t stay in tune, let me assist you. I’ll inspect and replace any worn parts, and set up the action and intonation.
From £75.00 plus parts (if needed), plus parts, depending on the extent of the setup required.
REPAIRS
If your guitar’s bridge or fretboard is lifting, the headstock is damaged, or the instrument has cracks or other repair needs, I can assist with any of these issues. Whether it’s a structural repair or general maintenance, I’ll restore your guitar to optimal condition.

ABOUT ME
I’m Edwin (or Zsombor to my Hungarian friends), and I’m passionate about everything guitar.
Whether it’s playing, building, repairing, or selling, guitars are at the heart of what I do.

I trained as a luthier at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, earning a Level 5 HNDiploma (with distinction), while gaining 6,500 hours of experience as a guitar technician at Budapest’s leading guitar shop, providing expert service to customer instruments.
Over the past five years, I’ve repaired over 700 guitars, developing specialized knowledge in fretted instruments, as well as gaining experience in testing amplifiers, pedals, and other accessories.

In 2022, I moved to Oxford, UK, where I worked at PMT (Professional Music Technology), a 7,000 sq ft flagship store filled with top industry brands.
We are passionate about every musical instrument we sell, helping customers find the right products at the best prices.

I have been playing and studying guitar since the age of 8.
Immersed in the vibrant music scene of Budapest, I had the chance to perform in various bands and venues over the years.

I have self-published several songs and a full album, all of which are available for streaming on my channels, including Spotify and SoundCloud.
