MEET EDWIN
Z. Edwin Barker is a guitarist, musician and guitar specialist based in Bath.
His work with guitars comes from a musician’s perspective: how the instrument feels, responds, sounds and supports the player. In this workshop, he helps guitarists understand the practical basics of maintenance and setup without unnecessary jargon.
His teaching style is calm, clear and hands-on. The aim is not to turn you into a professional guitar technician in one hour, but to help you feel more confident with your own instrument – how to care for it, what to notice, and when to ask for professional help.
PLEASE NOTE:
This is an educational workshop, not a full repair appointment. You’ll learn basic guitar care and maintenance using your own instrument, with guidance from Edwin. More complex repairs may require a separate professional service. Participants remain responsible for their own instruments, but Edwin will guide safe, appropriate maintenance practices during the session.
